The Polish Language Course for the A2 Certificate is an intensive, 40-hour program designed to prepare you for the official state exam. We have planned the structure of our classes so that every topic and lesson meets the guidelines of the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education dated February 14, 2025 (Poz. 217). This ensures that you are learning exactly what the State Commission will test.
During 40 hours of online study, we focus on practical skills that will allow you to confidently approach the 160-minute exam session. The program is organized so that after completing the course, you will be able to manage daily life in Poland fluently and handle the exam papers without stress.
What specific skills will you gain during the course?
Our course precisely prepares you for the grammatical correctness module, which is a key element of the assessment at the A2 level. During the classes, you will learn:
Flawless declension of key words
- Mastering difficult nouns. In the lessons, we will teach you the correct declension of words that are traps on every exam, such as: imię (name), muzeum (museum), centrum (center), człowiek (person), or rok (year). We will practice them in each of the seven cases so that you use them intuitively.
- Pronouns and indicating ownership. You will correctly use pronouns such as mój (my), twój (your), swój (one’s own), or ten, ta, to (this). This will allow you to create clear and grammatically correct sentences about yourself and your surroundings.
- Numbers and time. You will learn to use numbers fluently, providing dates and times. This is essential not only for the exam but also for handling daily official or commercial matters.
Precise expression of time and intentions
- Understanding verb aspects. We will explain the difference between completed and ongoing actions, such as napisałem (I finished writing) vs. pisałem (I was writing). Thanks to this, you will be able to correctly tell stories about your past, which is one of the main requirements of the A2 level.
- Moods and requests. You will learn polite forms and how to express wishes using the conditional mood, for example, chciałbym (I would like) or zrobilibyście (you would do). You will also master the imperative mood to freely formulate commands and requests.
- Comparison of adjectives. You will learn to compare things and people using regular and irregular forms, such as dobry – lepszy (good – better).
In which situations will you speak fluently?
Our 40-hour curriculum covers all life situations required by the state standards:
- Work and career. You will learn to describe your professional experience, office duties, and how to fill out official surveys and personal forms. You will be prepared to talk about your educational path.
- Health and doctor visits. You will master the vocabulary to accurately describe ailments and understand medical recommendations. Visiting a pharmacy or a clinic will no longer be a problem.
- Daily and official matters. You will find out how to handle matters at the post office, bank, or hairdresser. You will learn to ask for directions and use public transport without a language barrier.
Training for the exam modules
In accordance with the legal requirements for the A2 exam, every lesson prepares you for specific parts of the test:
- Listening and reading comprehension. We work with materials such as announcements, menus, and short messages. You will learn to quickly catch the most important facts.
- Writing and recognizing grammatical structures. You will practice writing emails, SMS messages, and short essays about your day. We will also teach you to notice correct grammatical forms in texts, which is crucial at this level.
- Oral exam. We will conduct simulations of the conversation with the commission, including recounting life events and justifying your opinions.
