Full declension through all seven cases arrives, along with the conditional and imperative moods and verb aspect \u2014 three things no shortcut avoids. It is also the level where the most durable mistakes form: you are understood, so you stop paying attention to endings. In the B1 examination those endings are exactly what gets marked.<\/p>\n<h3>Why verb aspect causes the most trouble<\/h3>\n<p>Because English does not have it in this form. The difference between \u201eczyta\u0142em ksi\u0105\u017ck\u0119&#8221; and \u201eprzeczyta\u0142em ksi\u0105\u017ck\u0119&#8221; is not about time but about whether the action was completed. English expresses this through context and phrases like \u201eI was reading&#8221; versus \u201eI read it through&#8221;; Polish uses two different verbs, and those pairs have to be learned.<\/p>\n<h3>The vocative \u2014 the case many courses skip<\/h3>\n<p>Courses for foreigners often stop at six cases and treat the vocative as a curiosity. Yet it is used constantly in Polish: \u201epanie doktorze&#8221;, \u201eprosz\u0119 pani&#8221;, \u201eAniu&#8221;. The A2 requirements in the regulation name it explicitly, so we cover it alongside the others.<\/p>\n<h3>What you can do after the A2 course<\/h3>\n<p>Following the requirements in the regulation, you understand the main content of spoken and written texts about everyday life, family and free time.
